ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

My name is Ms. Meghan Kennedy.

I grew up in Syracuse, NY and have lived here all my life. I have a large

family and am the second oldest of eight children. I decided to be a teacher

because I love children and I believe I am capable of making

a difference in the lives of those I teach. I graduated from

LeMoyne College with my Masters, being duel certified in

Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education. Outside of school

I enjoy cooking, traveling, and theater. I have a dog named Nicky and enjoy walking

him around the neighborhood any chance I get.

This year I am honored to work with your child. I look forward to teaching them and hope to share

alot of joy, laughter, and learning with them. I believe that every classroom should

have an atmosphere of trust and respect for one another as well as a sense of

community within its walls. Each child is special and unique, so I strive to make sure that

the way I teach is adaptable to each childs unique needs. I believe that with teamwork and

a sense of responsibility children can reach their potential and strive to be their very best.
